As property owners of Wilderness Park, you are automatically a member of the Wilderness Park Homeowners Association and have the right of enjoyment of the facilities and grounds.
As more people become property owners in the park, increased usage puts a strain on the facilities. Abuse of the furnishings, damage to roads and messes in the clubhouse, shower rooms, and pool area only make for added expenses that will eventually be passed on to you.
Your assistance is also needed in other areas of the park community. It is never fun when the same people have to do everything. Please come forward and volunteer to help on our various committees and annual events.
The Wilderness Park Homeowners Association board consists of nine (9) members. Each year the members elect three (3) board members to serve on the board. Board members terms are three (3) years. It is the board's responsibility to manage the affairs of the association. The board also has the authority to establish reasonable rules and regulations for the use of the common areas in Wilderness Park. Failure to use good common sense will lead to more restrictive rules and regulations.
If you witness someone violating the rules and regulations, destroying property or feel someone is acting suspicious, please contact the park manager,caretaker, or a board member. Please report any violations immediately so we can address the situation in a timely manner. If you are hurt or feel threatened, please call 911 immediately. Also remember you are responsible for any damages you or your guests cause, this includes the pool, clubhouse, roads and all other common areas.
We sincerely hope that a little cooperation from everyone will mean full enjoyment of the facilities by all. Let's work together in the spirit of a true community to keep Wilderness Park the greatest place to be
As a new owner and member of Wilderness Park Home Owners Association, you may have some questions and concerns. Many of your questions can be answered in the Wilderness Park information packet or here on our web site. Board members are also available to answer any questions you may have.
Dues are paid yearly for each lot owned. Your association dues help cover park expenses such as road plowing, road maintenance and repair, clubhouse upkeep, and caretaker wages.
Monthly board meetings are held on the 1st Saturday of each month except November at the clubhouse at 9:30 am. As a member, you are welcome and encouraged to attend.
