Trained instructors will have an obstacle course set up to help youth in the park complete DNR required training for safe ATV riding. The DNR online course must be completed before this event. All participants must sign up for this class in advance.

Members can sign up at the Clubhouse on the activities board to adopt an intersection in the park for the summer. Anyone adopting an intersection is encouraged to mow/weed whip/clean up all corners of the intersection so that visibility is improved and signs are more visible. Those wanting to take it a step farther can improve/decorate/landscape the intersection keeping in mind visibility and long term looks and care. There will be voting and prizes for the best intersection on Park Day.
This is The Meeting to attend, if you don't attend any other meetings all year this should be the one you go to. There are always hot topics, yearly budget and the voting for new board of directors. After we do the Annual Meeting we sit down and visit with a great meal free to all that come. Meeting at the Clubhouse starts at 9:30am Come early and register to vote. Your vote maters if you can not attend please send in your proxy vote.

This is the Field Day Course. This Class will consist of one hour of class room work and 2 hours of time for the Road test.
To attend this course you must First, complete an ATV safety online course, visit the DNR website at www.dnr.state.mn.us, then click on Education and Safety. Find Recreational Vehicle Safety Classes, find a course or contact the DNR for a CD version.
Next, attend the Hands-On ATV Safety class: (Field Day)
Students ages 10 - 15 must register for a Hands-On ATV Safety Training class. (A parent or guardian must be present at the hands-on training portion for youth ages 6 through 10 and for all others to fill out paperwork).
The Hands-On training includes: Student must meet Fit Requirements; Basic ATV operation, protecting the environment, common ATV parts and controls, MN rules and laws, responsible ATV riding skills for trail riding, and practicing/demonstrating skills on an ATV course. Student must be fitted to the ATV they will be operating.
All riders must have a certificate of completion of an ATV online Course and provide there own ATV that fits them.
This Course is not advertised on the DNR website and is for the Park. another course that is open for all will be in the fall.
Students can print their ATV Safety Certificate from the DNR website after passing the Hands-On class. Instructions provided during class (includes DNR fee of $10). The ATV Certificate becomes valid at age 12.
Anyone born after July 1, 1987, and who is 16 years or older can complete one of the ATV safety online courses and pay all necessary fees online to meet certification requirements. Not required to attend the ATV safety Hands-On class.
Registration is required to attend this course. Act soon slots are filling fast.
Class will be at at the Clubhouse.
Class starts at 9am come 20 minutes early to fill out paper work.
